An engineer's discipline, applied to global trade.

MAWADCO is a Doha-headquartered trading house focused on precious minerals, copper-gold mining, and infrastructure-linked supply, supported by complementary trade desks run with the same documentation-first discipline.

The story behind the desk

A trading house builtthe operator's way.

MAWADCO began in food and general commodity trading and has grown into a group active in precious minerals, copper-gold mining, and infrastructure-linked supply. The firm's engineering DNA still shapes every deal: document first, verify early, and move only when the workflow can withstand scrutiny from banks, suppliers, and end buyers.

That operating model proved portable. What started as a single Qatar desk expanded into a group with active offices in Doha, Dasmariñas, and Nairobi, supported by trade lanes across Africa and Asia. Roxanne Delos Santos helped turn that early discipline into a working international network, adding supplier depth, mining relationships, project-supply routes, and the cross-border coordination needed to keep multiple desks moving as one firm.

Chairman, MAWADCO Group

  • Engineer
  • QatarEnergy alumnus
  • Qatar Red Crescent Ambassador
  • Founder, Cherry Beans Qatar

Mr. Al-Amoudi is a Qatari engineer-turned-entrepreneur whose technical years inside QatarEnergy gave him a working understanding of the country's industrial spine. He brings that operator's mindset to MAWADCO — measured decisions, audited workflows, and a preference for evidence over enthusiasm.

Under his leadership the firm has grown from a single Doha desk into a multi-country trading group. He treats every counterparty relationship as a long position: vetted carefully at entry, then defended for years.

Outside trade, Mr. Al-Amoudi serves as an Ambassador of the Qatar Red Crescent and operates Cherry Beans Qatar — a hospitality brand built on the same principles of consistency and care.

We do not chase volume. We compound trust, and the volume follows. That has been the discipline since 2014, and it is the discipline today.

Roxanne Bobiles Delos Santos

President & Co-Founder, MAWADCO Trading Philippines · Managing Partner, MAWADCO Qatar & MAWADCO Africa

  • 16+ years in food, flowers and global commodities
  • BS Computer Engineering, FEU Philippines
  • Cross-continent supply chain leader

Roxanne began in Dubai's food import-export trade before leading an internationally recognised flower business serving 7-star UAE hospitality. That decade taught her the discipline of perishable logistics — the kind that makes the rest of commodity trade look forgiving.

Today she runs the Philippines office, holds 50% of MAWADCO Africa Ltd., and is a managing partner across the Qatar and Africa desks. Her network reaches producers and processors across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Her contribution to MAWADCO is the connective tissue: market entry routes, partnership scaffolding, and the cross-border trade lanes that turn a Doha office into a working global trader.

Real growth is built bridge by bridge — between producers and markets, between people and progress. The legacy is the opportunities you create for everyone else.
